Transylvanian Delight (chimney cake)

Transylvanian Delight is all about getting you medication for that sweet tooth out of our ex-St John's Ambulance (now fondly known within the family as St Agnes's First Aid Station). We sell sweet stuff which make great desserts for you and the family (though you might not want to share after having tried it...).

 

Come and try our other traditional Transylvanian-Hungarian treats, such as home-made chocolate and corn cakes! We promise you won't be disappointed! (Please note that only our corn cakes are gluten free - the chimney cakes are not!) The chimney cakes are suitable for vegetarians; containing no meat, dairy products or eggs. Upon popular demand, we can even make gluten free chimney cakes! 

 

• Tuesday to Friday we are at the Pallet Pavilion between 12.00 - 17.00.

 

• On Saturday we pay a visit to the Lyttelton market from 8.30 - 13.00.

 

• On Sunday we are at the Riccarton market from 8.30 - 14.00.
